Charges: Unless stated otherwise, delivery charges are per item, as follows:
£9.99 or less = £1.95 £10 - £19.99 = £3.95 £20 - £99.99 = £5.95 £100 or more = £7.95
These charges are added at the checkout stage.
We may be able to offer reduced delivery charges for an order of several items to a single delivery address. This depends on the size and weight of the items ordered and you are advised to ring or email us for a quotation before placing your order. Bulk orders may be palletised which is charged at cost.
Extended/surcharged deliveries: Additional delivery charges and/or extended delivery times may apply in respect of shipments sent via DHL to certain postcodes within the UK. These areas are mainly in the Highlands and Islands of Scotland and some other remote areas. The current applicable postcodes are TR13, TR21-25, DE45, AB33-35, AB37, AB44-45, AB53-56, FK17, FK20, HS1-2, HS4-8, IV3, IV13, IV21-22, IV25-27, IV40-49, IV51-56, KA27, KW1, KW9-10, KW14-15, KY8, NE66, PA20, PA28-29, PA34, PA60, PA62-78, PH1, PH7, PH15-18, PH22, PH26, PH33, PH36, PH38-39, PH41, ZE1-3, NE42, NE46, NE62-63, NE66, DG1, DG5-6, DG9-13, DG16, NE47, TD7 and TD9. This list is updated periodically. We will contact you if this applies to your order.
Despatch: We aim to despatch orders within 24 hours Monday to Friday. We do not despatch or deliver orders at weekends or on national holidays. We will send you a despatch confirmation with a tracking number (if available) once the order is on its way.
If you specify a date for delivery we will do our best to arrange for the parcel to arrive on that date (or in some cases a day or two before). However this is not a guaranteed service.
We use DHL Express for deliveries of heavier items, and Royal Mail for smaller/lighter items . Normally (in 99% of cases) items are delivered the day following despatch although this is not guaranteed and we cannot be responsibility for delays due to circumstances beyond our control. There are some areas of the UK where delivery may take 1-2 extra days (see above).
When DHL is used for delivery, a signature will be required on delivery so you should please ensure that there will be someone in to accept delivery. If the driver is unable to obtain a signature, he will take the parcel back to the depot and leave a card asking the recipient to contact DHL Customer Services to rearrange delivery at a more convenient time. If the recipient fails to contact DHL the item will eventually be returned to us (after 10 days) and you will have to pay a further delivery charge to have the item re-delivered. DHL deliveries are made Monday to Friday during normal working hours.
