New Zealand Polwarth 4Ply - Blueberry Barn Shop

New Zealand Polwarth is soft, strong and lustrous.

This wonderful wool is from the New Zealand Polwarth sheep, an old sheep breed combining 75% merino and 25% Lincoln. The fibre is similar to merino but with more sheen, so sleek, springy and lustrous. It is worsted spun from long staple fibres to produce a yarn that is silky and smooth and gives good stitch definition.

Yarns are individually hand-dyed using professional quality acid dyes and then rinsed and washed in gentle wool soap.

Unless otherwise stated, all colourways are non-repeatable and when sold out will be removed from the website. Please ensure you purchase sufficient yarn to complete your project. If using more than one skein of the same colourway for a single project, please alternate skeins every couple of rows to ensure even distribution of shading.
